Yesterday, I was reading the Ensign and came across this poem after reading an article on infertility and faith. I was already in tears from the article then after reading this I needed a box of tissues! I really hope that our child is on his/her way "through the hills and valleys" to our arms.
Just the Same by Diana Lynn Lacey
Sometimes-
God sends rain
Straight from the sky
To nourish the young flower
and it grow.
Sometimes-
God sends rain from the sky
To the mountaintops,
Then over hills and through valleys
Until it reaches the flower
and it grows, just the same.
Sometimes-
God sends a child
Straight from Hi realm
Into a mother's arms
and love grows.
Sometimes-
God sends a child
From heaven to another's arms,
Then over hills and through valleys
Until he reaches the arms of his mother
and love grows, just the same.
(And my slight apologies for so many non-picture posts and for being so sappy recently.)

Love your guts. I cried through the majority of that article, too. You are always in my thoughts and prayers.
Great poem- didn't see that in the Ensign yet but I haven't finished reading mine. Love you! Have faith!
Aw, I love this and I love you guys!! (p.s. the word verification I have to do below reads "stistr" which I automatically read as sister and I thought it was so cool...but then I realized it doesn't say that after all! I'm proud to call you my stistr!! )
I also loved reading that article. I almost texted you when I read it last month. It's kind of funny because I actually took that page out of the ensign and I'm going to frame it for Sawyer's room. I LOVED it and yes, cried when I read it--so beautiful and so true!
I loved this article as well. Praying for you guys! I have faith it will happen and it will be wonderful and you two will be awesome parents!
