Halloween-ness

Our Halloween celebrations were pretty low key this year.  But one tradition we couldn't do without was carving pumpkins!

We had our friends Joe & Cara over to join in on the tradition.

 Jarad and his scary jack-o-lantern!

I did something a little friendlier...

Joe & Cara had a mass of tools and patterns to share- and good thing- we sure needed them!

Our finished pumpkins all lit up~

 Mine...Halloween-esque

 Jarad's...spookiest

 Cara's...friendliest

Joe's....most complex

Halloween weekend our ward had a trunk-or-treat.  We didn't plan ahead very well but the night before and day of we came up with (copied) this!

It turned out so cute and it was so easy! I made the teeth and Jarad's artistic skills contributed the eyes.
