World's Largest Dog Bed
Sadie is getting a little bigger, and has learned how to jump up on the couch and also on what she now thinks is her very own dog bed! Guess the LoveSac is good for something!

Weekend Away
Jarad and I were lucky enough to get away to Utah over President's Day/Valentine's Day weekend. It was a very short trip but we had lots of fun and even got to relax a bit.

Our flight there was on a very small plane! We even had to walk outside on the tarmat to get on the plane.

If we look a little worn, it is because we had worked all day and then headed straight to the airport to fly out.

While we were there, we got to eat at one of our favorite Utah resturants- Cafe Rio! YUM!!!

The main reason for our visit was to celebrate Grandpa's 80th birthday. We had a few different celebrations; an adult dinner, a kids party and then an open house. Here is Grandma & Grandpa Tangren at the open house.

We also had fun seeing our Reno neices. Here is Aleah!

Here is Sienna and Mya after playing at the open house.

Jarad in his element! He was helping his aunt take pictures of everyone who came to Grandpa's open house.
We are lucky that our good friends Cole & Maura were willing to put us up for the weekend.

Cole & Maura enjoying some Iceburg shake!

We got Iceburg shakes on our way back to Cole & Maura's after the open house. They have the BEST shakes!

We also got to see our little niece Kate! She is getting so big!
She was loving trying out some new toys.

We sure do love her parents- Chris & Tarina too! So good to spend some time with them as well in the short time we were in Utah.

I was also able to go out to breakfast with a couple of my girls! Thanks Mel & Chrissy (doesn't she have the cutest little basketball belly?!) for coming to breakfast. It was so good to catch up!
We also celebrated Valentine's with a dinner at Teppanyaki's with Cole & Maura before we flew back to Colorado.

Our chef made this fried rice heart for us. Hibachi-style cooking is really fun!

Us- Happy Valentin's Day babe! Thanks for taking me to a nice dinner.

Thanks to Cole & Maura for celebrating love-day with us, putting us up for the weekend, and for being such great friends! We are so excited to meet baby Lansford next time we come!

Superbowl Sunday Dinner
We watched (well mostly just the commercials) the Superbowl with Jarad's side of the family. There was plenty of tasty food and we had lots of fun!
Our little family...don't mind me looking like death...I was getting the flu!
While we were there, we got to play the new Wii Fit Plus. Jarad played a funny game where you have to be a bird and land on certain targets. I couldn't stop laughing!! Fly baby fly!!

Sadie's Life
Sadie has a pretty sweet life! She eats, sleeps, and loves to go on walks!

Even though it has been cold and there is still a bunch of snow, when it is sunny and not too cold, we take Sadie for a walk.

But most times we end up wearing mud shoes!

Sadie is so light, that when she walks on the snow, she stays on top and doesn't fall through most of the time. (Look how dirty she is!)

You know what they say....doggie like owner! They love taking naps on the couch! Two cuties!

Goodbye January, HELLO February!!
I just have to say that I am so so so glad that January is over! Every year I feel like it is the longest, most drab month! January is so cold and boring and doesn't have any super fun holidays to look forward too. So I am happy to say so-long for this year!

Hello February! I like Feb. It is short, fun and puts me one month closer to Spring! And it is the month of love, which I enjoy! :)
Happy February to all!!

R.I.P.
READER WARNING! This may be a little gross to some people... :)
Just before bed one evening this week, Jarad went in to feed our mice and found this...

Poor little Jaq had passed on. We aren't sure how he died but we think it was either old age (mice don't have long lives) or intestinal blockage (he ate too much!). Jarad wanted to leave him dead in the cage till morning but I insisted that I wouldn't be able to sleep well knowing there was a dead mouse in the house!
So we made gave him a proper burial (if you call a ziplock a coffin and the dumpster a grave site).

You were a good mouse Jaq! R.I.P.

Fun Pics of Sadie
We absolutely love our pup Sadie. She has been the best dog and is just adorable!! Here are some fun pictures of her.

She is a snugly pup and loves to take naps with me.
Sadie is also a pretty good traveler and has made a few trips south to my parents house in the past month.

Isn't she cute?!

She loves to explore the car and wishes she could sit on Jarad's lap as he drives.

Sadie gets along really well with all our families pups...she loves playing with her cousins!

Sadie got a very warm and cute coat for Christmas! Jarad really loves to take her out when she is wearing this coat! (Ok, really he keeps saying that the next dog we get will be a "dude dog.")

Yesterday, it was so nice outside, we took Sadie for a walk around the lake behind our house. She LOVED tromping around and got pretty wet and dirty playing in the leftover snow and mud!

Skatin' & Bowlin'
Here are some cute photos of Audrey and Jordan.

Audrey got to go ice skating with Lindsey one day and loved it!

She looked so small out on the ice and loved when Lindsey carried her around on the ice.

Jordan loved playing with cars and learned alot of new words while he was here too. SO CUTE!
Then towards the end of our holidays together, we all went bowling (except the little ones, they stayed home with a babysitter).

Jarad and I

Dad and Jarad got sweet bowling shoes!

We are all ready to bowl! Lets see who really has skillz! Turns out Mom and Dad were the best bowlers overall.

Kev & Lori- Out of the siblings, Kevin inherited all the bowling skills in the family.

David & Mel- they were pretty good bowlers too!

Lindsey & I- we may not have inherited the bowling skills but we sure are cute!

Sibling Fun
We had the chance to go out as siblings a few times over the holiday. We went to Itz which is an arcade/game/fun center for adults. It was awesome! We also went to see the movie Sherlock Holmes.

We started the night finding out how strong we were! Jarad was the strongest!

Lori & Mel getting their Dance Dance Revolution on!

The boys- Kev & David- shooting away.

Lindsey & I getting our dance on!

Lindsey had great balance on the skateboard.

David & Mel spent time jammin' on DDR as well! Mel even had to take off her sweater!

Jarad & I had alot of fun.

The crew with some of our tickets. Kev & Lori accumulated the most and even got some trinkets and candy with them.
When we went to the movies...

Lindsey got a pickle in a bag. It was even a spicy pickle and was stinking up the whole place!

We really enjoyed the movie and loved spending time with the sibs even more!!
